¿Sabes que es esto?
Supuestamente, es un galardón, un premio, que la revista Corporative Live Wire otorga a las empresas que se presentan. Diseño interior, abogados, panaderos, fontaneros, arquitectos, floristas, etc... o sea, oficinas o negocios de cualquier tipo en general.
Te piden que envíes unas fotos, una información sobre tu empresa, etc.
Y pocas semanas después recibes un email donde se te anuncia que:
HAS SIDO GANADOR DEL PREMIO !!!
Me pareció muy raro haber sido seleccionado, primero, y después, haber ganado el premio. ¿Por qué? Pues porque nunca les envié ni la solicitud, ni las fotos, ni la documentación que me pidieron. Y no tengo pagina web donde hayan podido ver nada, ni tampoco hay información de mi empresa en internet. Tan sólo mi email y telefono en google maps. Pero nada más.
Se dice muy claramente que el premio no es en metálico, sino que consta de una publicación en la revista Corporate Live Wire. Bueno, un reportaje sobre tu negocio en una revista tan prestigiosa no está mal.
Espera, igual cambias de opinión cuando veas la revista...
Te informan de que el premio incluye tan sólo la publicación de los nombres de los ganadores de "galardón", pero que te ofrecen, por un módico precio, realizar reportajes más amplios si se paga una cierta cantidad de dinero, incluso te envían ellos las placas o trofeos en metacrilato con el premio y tu nombre, si quieres mostrarlas en tu negocio, eso sí, tienes que pagar por la impresión.
TENGO LA SENSACION DE QUE CUALQUIERA QUE ENVIA LA INFORMACION ES GANADOR DEL PREMIO...
Sí, en efecto. Todo el mundo que envía la información recibirá un mensaje informandole de que ha ganado el SPAIN PRESTIGE AWARD.

Y llegados a este punto, todavía no hemos explicado de qué va todo ésto.
Bien, Corporate Live Wire es una "revista". Sí, una revista con ofertas inmobiliaras para una determinada zona de cada país (hay revistas iguales para muchos países en el mundo).Cada año sacan un reportaje para los meses de verano, y necesitan sacar dinero para promocionar la revista.
¿Quien paga la revista? Obviamente sus anunciantes.
¿Quienes son los anunciantes? Las empresas que pagan por anunciarse.
¿Quien pagaría por anunciarse en este revista? Las empresas a las que se les dice que han ganado un "galardón" y se les ofrece un "pack" publicitario.
Y así se cierra el círculo, y esta empresa gana dinero con su empresa de "imprenta", imprimiendo revistas, trofeos y paneles en metacrilato para colgar de la pared.
Es decir, que te dicen que has sido seleccionado por el jurado, y después te ofrecen que pagues para salir en la revista.
Yo había sido sido seleccionado para el año 2022 como Ganador del SPAIN PRESTIGE AWARD en la categoria de CONSTRUCCION. Pero les dije que no iba a pagar por mejorar mi visibilidad.
¿Me publicaron? Si. Junto con las otras 1.000 empresas que salen anunciadas en la revista, que por cierto, todas habían ganado el mismo premio que yo, y algunos, incluso en la misma categoría que yo.
En la categoría SERVICIOS Y REFORMAS DE HOGAR, aparecen 28 "ganadores", cada uno adjudicado a una "subcategoría", tales como:
- Empresa "especialista en construcción" del año
- Empresa "constructora" del año
- Empresa "de construcción" del año
- Empresa "diseñador de interiores" del año
- Empresa "especialista en diseño de interior" del año
- Empresa "diseño interior de lujo" del año
- Empresa "firma de diseño interior" del año
- Empresa "especialista en arquitectura interior" del año
- y así, unas 20 o 30 empresas más, de la misma categoría...
- 200 páginas, con unos 40 "ganadores" en cada una. Un total de unos 5.000 / 10.000 "ganadores", según su categoría.

Once we receive your acceptance, you will be placed on the shortlist and our research team will start work immediately on the supporting documents.
Questionnaire& Categories
During the nomination process we give companies and individuals the opportunity to specify the categories they wish to be considered for. We also provide all nominees with the opportunity to submit additional information that may support them being successful in the awards. This could include details on the company, new projects, positive media attention/ other recognition or direct us to online testimonials and customer reviews then this may all have a positive impact on the decision making. Please fill in the short questionnaire provided and include any information you feel relevant.

Tell me more about the award programme& who votes?
Every year, we invite companies to talk to us about themselves and provide information on why they are worthy of recognition in the awards. We receive submissions from business of all sizes who provide products and services to Spain. The judges pick a selection of winners in a range of categories.
The awards are a free to enter program that provides exposure to subscribers looking for information on the very best companies and services in the industry.
Once the submissions have been reviewed then winners will be notified by a member of the awards team. Each winner will receive coverage in the awards magazine as well as the website, press releases and at several events.
Are there any costs?
Unlike many awards programs, we offer no options for companies or individuals to make any financial contributions prior to this year’s decisions being made. This includes booking of advertorial space or partnership opportunities of any kind.
Winners are chosen by our independent panel made up of select industry experts and our editor-in-chief. This ensures the most deserving are picked each year and decisions cannot be influenced by current relationships.
